When our founder Ole Øivind Skaar established Harper & Brooks back in 2016 he wanted to build a brand renowned for high-quality products and creative collaboration with the best partners.

Instead of employing cheap Chinese or similar movements, Harper & Brooks exclusively uses Swiss Movements. Switzerland has earned itself a strong reputation for building the finest watch movements, and we are exclusively using reliable and precise movements from Ronda, headquartered in Lausen, Switzerland.

3. Unique straps made from 100% wool
Wool is a textile representing Scandinavian culture, and Harper & Brooks is pioneering the field of wool watch straps. Through our collaboration with the world-leading Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat, we
have developed a range of unique watch straps made from 100% wool.

Our wool straps are being copied by several brands, but none of these features the wool fabric of the highest quality manufactured by Kvadrat.

4. Premium leather straps from Tärnsjö Garveri, Sweden
With 140 years of history, Tärnsjö Garveri is among the 5% tanning houses globally who still employ vegetable tanning. Their leather holds unparalleled quality, and by using bark extracts in their tanning process they have chosen to respect Mother Nature. We’re proud to say that all leather straps from Harper & Brooks are made from premium leather manufactured by Tärnsjo Garveri.
